Is Akal Consultants a law firm?

No. Akal Consultants provides non-legal administrative support, application preparation and document organization. We do not represent clients before immigration courts or provide legal advice.

Can you guarantee approval?

No. No consultant, attorney or preparer can guarantee a government decision. Outcomes are controlled by the relevant agency and depend on the facts, evidence and law.

Do you serve clients outside California?

Yes. Remote consultations and administrative support are available nationwide.

What languages do you support?

English, Punjabi and Hindi.

How long is the free consultation?

The introductory consultation is up to 30 minutes and is intended to understand your goal and identify a general service category.

How are regular appointments conducted?

By phone, Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. Evening and weekend appointments may be available.

Can you represent me before USCIS or immigration court?

Akal Consultants does not provide legal representation. Matters requiring legal representation or legal advice should be handled by an independent licensed attorney or federally authorized representative.

Will you submit my application for me?

The exact scope depends on the service. We may help prepare and organize materials, but the client must review and approve all information and follow the relevant submission requirements.

How should I send sensitive documents?

Do not send sensitive records through the public contact form. After engagement, document-sharing instructions will be provided.

Are government fees included?

No, unless expressly stated in a written service agreement. Government, translation, mailing, legal and third-party fees are generally separate.
